The IT field includes not only coders and specialists in configuring software (hardware and software). The field includes all professions related to technology and its application. As high-tech devices are now being introduced in all spheres of activity, new professions are emerging:

IT medical professionals. This group includes medical device architects, genetic counselors, and clinical biochemists. All of them work directly with information technology, not with patients.

Designers of 3D printing and smart homes in construction. Buildings are already being erected with industrial 3D printers, and many are happy owners of smart homes. However, the equipment needs to be set up to make sure everything works correctly and safely.

Developers of dynamic dispatch control ICs and designers of drone interfaces. Both professions relate to aviation. In order for the machinery to move through the air itself, you need to program it correctly and then control the aerial movement of all means.

A number of professions can begin to be studied now, but it is unlikely that it will be possible to find work in them in Russia in the next few years. Therefore it is better to start with programming, and afterwards to get into new trends. This will help create the basis for future development in the IT sphere.
